Happy 60th Birthday to Founder & Director Nicholas Prutton
This week, our dad, Nicholas Prutton, celebrates a milestone birthday of 60 years! I'm sure you will join us in wishing him Many Happy Returns.
This has huge significance to our family business that has become known as Offley Memorials as it means that he has been working on headstones with his own fair hands for exactly 40 years!
He first started out in the stone masonry industry back in 1979 and after gaining much experience, went on to launch his own business in 1989 from outbuildings in his garden in the picturesque village of Offley. As well as serving the general public, he went on to be the stone mason of choice for several highly regarded Funeral Directors due to his precision with natural stone and an exemplary reputation.
In 2017 he teamed up with myself Hayley and my brother Billy who joined him as directors to ensure that the business would continue to serve the next generation. Hayley now heads up customer relations and marketing while Billy who is a stone mason in his own right and also RQMF registered (Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers), carries out all stone masonry and fixing work in partnership with our dad.
